I’m not a huge fan of psychological thrillers for the most part. They usually have a slow story line that leaves you so empty handed that you regret not waiting for the movie to come to your nearest RedBox (Inception, for example). Ex Machina has very little action and a story that you really have to pay attention to, but if you enjoy movies that mess with your head and leave you lost right up until the very last minute, it’s definitely worth the watch. The ending definitely doesn’t leave you feeling robbed, and raises questions on the ethics and risks associated with experimenting with AI.
